Jiu-jitsu Classes

Our Jiu-jitsu classes give you the well-rounded work-out you're looking for.  Our training integrates all aspects of physical fitness: agility, endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance.  Our class sizes are kept small to ensure that each student gets personal attention from the instructors every class.

Throughout the course of your Jiu-jitsu training, you learn what you need to know to defend yourself, while raising your personal awareness and self-confidence in our graduated self-defense program

Techniques include:
-Boxing style punches and blocks  -Open hand striking techniques
-Throws, takedowns and breakfalls      -Practical kicking techniques
-Pressure points -Hold Escapes
-Joint locks -Sparring drills
-Ground defense -Weapon defense

Jiu-Jitsu Belt Progression

White to Green:  These levels focus on teaching you all the basic fundamentals you need to defend yourself on the street and the foundations required for advanced learning.

Purple to Black:  These levels reinforce the self-defense fundamentals learned at prior belt levels, adding advanced training that develops your awareness and adaptive abilities.

*We are currently taking new students on our roster, but please note that there are limited spaces available, so we cannot guarantee everyone a spot.  Please contact us to make an appointment for your first two free trial lessons.

In addition to our regular classes, we offer a women's self-defense class once every few months, or on request for groups.  We also offer private training. Please contact us for more info.
